​The T-WING Consortium participated in the first ground run of the Next Generation Civil Tiltrotor Technology Demonstrator (NGCTR-TD). The ground run, successfully completed by Leonardo Helicopters at the Cascina Costa plant, was carried out in the presence of Clean Aviation JU Project Officers.

T-WING is a European partnership of CIRA, MAGROUP, OMI, MARE GROUP, IBK-INNOVATION, UNINA that developed the wing of the NGCTR-TD demonstrator within the framework of the Fast Rotorcraft platform of Clean Sky 2. The wing was delivered to Leonardo in May 2023.
